Back from Florida

So, Erica and I took a road trip to Florida.

We left early Wednesday morning. 21 hours of driving, over eating, reading, jamming to music, talking about the strangest things, stopping at scary gas stations and taking pictures we finally made it to the Condo in Bonita Springs. It was early in the morning when we finally got there. About 3 a.m.

At first we thought we couldn't get into the gate because we (cough cough Erica) typed in the number of the gate wrong, but after a call to Ross we finally figured it out. Thank God too, because I sure didn't want to sleep in the car until morning.

As soon as we got in we fell straight to sleep.

The next day it was cloudy out and stormy. It was a little disappointing, but we decided we needed to go grocery shopping and from the drive the day before we thought we could use the day to just relax. So thats what we did. We shopped, unpacked and relaxed. Later the weather got a little nicer so we went swimming. And of course went to bed early because we were still pooped.

When we woke up the next morning it was bright and sunny. It was the perfect day to travel to the beach, so we did just that.

It was super nice. We laid out, people watched and swam. Of course because of my nephew and his fascination with shark movies, i was a little scared at first when I got in, but I soon got over my fear and enjoyed the beautiful ocean water. It was so nice and relaxing, until you got out of the water and sand was just everywhere. It was worth it though. We ate out and got a little burnt but that was fine. Later that night we went to Fort Myers and walked around the beach and shops. It was a cute little town.

The next day we slept in, lounged at the pool and cleaned because we were leaving early morning the next day. We got EVEN more burnt. It was a little sad. We were pretty sore and tired so we lounged around the condo, but it was super nice.

6:30 the next morning we got ready super fast and left for Orlando! Harry Potter land here we come! We drove three hours to get there, but the trip went fast. Maybe because we were too excited. When we arrived it started to pour. We were a little sad because we thought we wouldn't be to go to Harry Potter land, but we sucked it up, walked in rain and got to see the wonderful world of Wizard land. The rain actually worked out best for us because less people were there and it started to clear up later in the day and all the rides were working. The park was well worth the 85 dollars to get in.

We spent all day there and left to stay at a free hotel Erica's father got us! It was so nice. Free breakfast in the morning and a little bit shorter ride home.

We made it back in 18 hours.

All in all it was a great trip!
