Day 288: When do I feel most alive? (Day 18)

Waking up at the crack of dawn, so tired from the lack of sleep from the night before, living out of your suit case, rushing to wherever need be until after midnight and finally returning for the evening and crashing until the next day when you have to get up and do it all over again.

This is what makes me feel alive. Traveling to a place and starting a new adventure is something that makes me come to life. I love being so preoccupied by the life that is going on around me that I don't dwell on my own problems because I'm so focused with the beauty around me. I love soaking up the atmosphere wherever I travel. The rush of excitement when you explore a new place, the new people, the new sites, the new food, everything.

When I'm traveling, I feel like a brand new person, but maybe because that's when I really come to life.

Day 287:Why do you keep a blog? What is your favorite part of keeping a blog? Least favorite? (Day 17)

I started a blog way back in 2008 so that I could see what my sisters were up to, because they seemed to blog a lot. (Cough, cough... BLOG SOME MORE, SISTERS)
But then after awhile I wanted to start writing about my life, and it was kind of like an online diary for me, but after a few weeks, I became like my sisters and never posted anymore ;)

After almost a year of not posting, and after getting fed up with always quitting what I start, I decided to create a blog and write every day in it. No matter what, as long as I posted something, every day for a year.

After awhile it just became habit. I like my blog very much. I think my favorite part about blogging is on those good days, where I really feel like writing, in some way it sorta brings me to life.

My least favorite thing about blogging is the fact that it's hard to write something new and creative everyday, so I have a lot of blogs that are super short, or super boring, but I guess thats the price you pay if you blog everyday!

Day 286: If you knew you would die in two weeks, would you change anything about your life now? (Day 16)

Heck yes I would!
First of all, I'd quit my job.
Second, I would drop classes for school because I'd want my dad to get that money back.
Third of all I'd take my money and buy a plane ticket to somewhere I'd never been before.

I'd live my life to the fullest.
Take ever opportunity thrown at me.
Tell everyone whatever I'd been holding back.

I wouldn't care.

There'd be no point.

There really isn't one now.

Day 285: Who is your "best self"? (Day 15)

There are so many improvements I'd love to make for myself.

I'd love to be more independent. I'd love to not have weird anxieties. Fit, active, outgoing, smart etc. You name it, there is always something that I want to improve.

Each year I learn more about myself, and experience new things in life. I'm always changing, always growing and you know what? Each year I like my self a little more. I may not be perfect, but I'm okay with that. I think my 'best self' is a happy, selfless person and that's who I intend to be.

Day 284: What song has moved you recently? (Day 14)

This song literally moved me. It's a pretty good running song. :)

Day 283: What in life is most beautiful to you? (Day 13)

There are so many beautiful things in life. Beauty is the scenery that is spread across the world, the vast mountain ranges, the large lush green forrest with trees as tall as skyscrapers, the deep mysterious ocean full of so many vibrant blues. Beauty is seen within, a mother embracing her child, a man who gives up his seat for a older man on the bus, a baby's giggle, a community who sticks together in a time of need. All of these things are beautiful in life, but something that I think is the most beautiful?
Well, I'll tell you.
Stories.
Not necessarily story books, but peoples stories. Everyone has one, and everyone has something different and unique to share and that's what I find so beautiful.

Day 282: What are your three biggest passions (Day 12)

Oh this one is extremely easy to answer.

Number 1: Film
Ever since I was little I always liked video recording me and my friends. I guess I never grew up because I still love that. I love creating something with a camera, and then editing. Although I haven't done it as much as I would like, its a HUGE passion of mine. I love doing it and isn't that what they say? Do what you love?

Number 2: Drawing
Drawing has always been a stress reliever, but not only is a stress reliever but something I'm actually pretty decent at. Creating, shading smudged fingers. I just love it. I love after finishing a picture and feeling SO accomplished. Its a great feeling.

Number 3: Reading
I used to hate reading, but after one birthday and one gag gift that turned out to be by one of my favorite authors, I feel IN LOVE with reading. I'm an addict now. Of course my genre of books is small, I'm slowly starting to expand my horizons.
