So I learned today that only 5% of our water foot print is from showering, doing the laundry, running the toilets and so on, but the 95% come from the food we eat, the products we buy and the services we rely on. Isn't that crazy?
I learned that it takes 1800 gallons of water are used to produce one pound of beef and A gallon of milk—from a cow—requires 880 gallons of water to produce!
I think I'm going to stop eating beef for a while. Maybe all together.
DAY 14: A song no one would expect me to love. I used to not like this song at all, but someone constantly sang it to me, so now I love it. Thanks, Erica.
